Fun On Wednesday

So I finally have a working computer… OMG I never thought how bad it could get not having a working computer. So now I can start my day with some fun and get some work done.

Now days everything is online let alone our work on the web. First it started with the number keys and then random keys were lost and the the power button and it was over. Thank goodness we decided to check out the surrounding areas attractions were we ran into “Big D” he is a computer fix it guy and he lives up to his reputation as “Big D” he had the computer fixed in no time at all. Trina and I were so glad we have so much to catch up on. Not being at home and being on the water on the sailboat can make it difficult we can’t just move to another computer in the office. I tried my cell phone while the computer was down and that didn’t work out so well.

So here it is Wednesday, Half way through the week and then it’s the weekend. I hope you all are having a great week

Trina and I want to thank all of you that have joined the BlogDumps community in the past years and to all of you that have just joined us a big thanks to you all too.

This year has brought some good changes to BlogDumps and it has been through the support of all of you bloggers that have supported us and those that have dumped your blog here.

BlogDumps is all about bringing other bloggers together to help each other so please use the forum, it has been updated and you can complete a really cool profile page there too.

We are also here to promote your blog and see that you gain new readers and comments so make sure to take advantage of all the amenities here on the site including Top Sites Tuesday.

We also have perfected the Webcam up loader on BlogDumps video site “B Tubed.” With just an inexpensive webcam you can now upload a video and send it to friends and family privately *they must join “B Tubed” to receive the video mail and watch it* or you can do video blogging and embed the video on your blog post. The instructions on how to send a private video are in the FAQ on the bottom of the video page on the site.

We have been working on the blog Directory and have had some great success. BlogDumps now has a new spider and a new submission you will love.

Now when you submit your blog it will be added into the category of your choice as soon as you finish your submission.

The main thing to remember is to put your BlogDumps link on your front page, do not hide it in a links page or an “rel nofollow” or our spider will not find it.

The featured blog submission has been upgraded and changed. For a one time fee you can get your blog featured.

Also we have the new sponsor a category, your blog at the top of the page with your logo and screenshot for only $9.95 a month. If you would like to gain some extra exposure for your blog try the sponsor a blog directory banner at the top of each directory page, no long term commitments try it for a month or how long you wish. It is inexpensive and helps with bringing more features and updates to the site.

The blog directory has now been automated and is working very well. Complete the form to add your blog and Bam! it is listed. If you would like to have a screen shot of your blog next to you listing please become a featured blog or a platinum feature and get your blog advertized across the front page and on the directory for a small one time, lifetime fee!

We have had a successful week in optimizing the data base for all the blogs created here on BlogDumps Bloggers. While we were in the process of cleaning up the site we noticed there were many spam blogs and adult dating or adult content blogs, this is a violation of our terms of service.

We have gone through and marked many blogs (a thousand or so) as spam so if you go to access your blog and it has been marked there is a form to fill out to tell us why it should not have been marked spam and to re open your blog. PLEASE if you find this on your blog make sure to fill it out and send it right away, NEXT week we will be deleting all blogs marked as spam so don’t delay.

We are sorry for any over site on our part if we marked your blog by accident but please understand it is a huge job to go through all the sites created in the last five years.

Again I have cleaned out the BlogDumps Discussion Forum – Spammers… gotta love it

But I deleted them all. it would be cool if you all would make friends and network in the forum.

I have added profile comments so if you have blogging friends that are a part of the BlogDumps Community Discussion Forum you can stop by their profile page and leave them a comment. You can customize your profile page too.

With all the traffic and readers to the discussion forum, now is a good time to update your profile with a logo or photo and a link to your blog. Then announce your blog to the community in the Announce your blog here thread. 80,000 hits a month – why pass up the opportunity?

I have been busy…LOL I have added to the BlogDumps Mobile site “B Mobile”

It is a fun place you can access from you pc or your mobile phone. It is just a wall to leave a comment or a link to something funny or crazy or just you latest blog post. No logging in just post it. You can leave your name or you can be anonymous. Have fun I will be making some more improvements as time goes on!

We have also added back a bunch of new features where you can add your latest article or blog post to your profile with a link to your blog. Customize your page layout and brand your page.

You can now create, Video albums, Music Albums, Photo Albums – groups, add bulletins, shutouts, upload an article and more. Some of the users have told me they get a lot of readers from their B Tubed profile. Create private video mail and send to your family or friends only you can also do this by using your webcam!

I have added some info in the help center and will be adding more as I update “B Tubed”
