Fun On Wednesday

So I finally have a working computer… OMG I never thought how bad it could get not having a working computer. So now I can start my day with some fun and get some work done.

Now days everything is online let alone our work on the web. First it started with the number keys and then random keys were lost and the the power button and it was over. Thank goodness we decided to check out the surrounding areas attractions were we ran into “Big D” he is a computer fix it guy and he lives up to his reputation as “Big D” he had the computer fixed in no time at all. Trina and I were so glad we have so much to catch up on. Not being at home and being on the water on the sailboat can make it difficult we can’t just move to another computer in the office. I tried my cell phone while the computer was down and that didn’t work out so well.

So here it is Wednesday, Half way through the week and then it’s the weekend. I hope you all are having a great week 🙂

Trina and I want to thank all of you that have joined the BlogDumps community in the past years and to all of you that have just joined us a big thanks to you all too.

This year has brought some good changes to BlogDumps and it has been through the support of all of you bloggers that have supported us and those that have dumped your blog here.

BlogDumps is all about bringing other bloggers together to help each other so please use the forum, it has been updated and you can complete a really cool profile page there too.

We are also here to promote your blog and see that you gain new readers and comments so make sure to take advantage of all the amenities here on the site including Top Sites Tuesday.

We also have perfected the Webcam up loader on BlogDumps video site “B Tubed.” With just an inexpensive webcam you can now upload a video and send it to friends and family privately *they must join “B Tubed” to receive the video mail and watch it* or you can do video blogging and embed the video on your blog post. The instructions on how to send a private video are in the FAQ on the bottom of the video page on the site.

I had my volume up a little bit high, I am practicing and hope to get better at video blogging… lol

We have been working on the blog Directory and have had some great success. BlogDumps now has a new spider and a new submission you will love.

Now when you submit your blog it will be added into the category of your choice as soon as you finish your submission.

The main thing to remember is to put your BlogDumps link on your front page, do not hide it in a links page or an “rel nofollow” or our spider will not find it.

The featured blog submission has been upgraded and changed. For a one time fee you can get your blog featured.

Also we have the new sponsor a category, your blog at the top of the page with your logo and screenshot for only $9.95 a month. If you would like to gain some extra exposure for your blog try the sponsor a blog directory banner at the top of each directory page, no long term commitments try it for a month or how long you wish. It is inexpensive and helps with bringing more features and updates to the site.

This week on BlogDumps

The blog directory has now been automated and is working very well. Complete the form to add your blog and Bam! it is listed. If you would like to have a screen shot of your blog next to you listing please become a featured blog or a platinum feature and get your blog advertized across the front page and on the directory for a small one time, lifetime fee!

We have had a successful week in optimizing the data base for all the blogs created here on BlogDumps Bloggers. While we were in the process of cleaning up the site we noticed there were many spam blogs and adult dating or adult content blogs, this is a violation of our terms of service.

We have gone through and marked many blogs (a thousand or so) as spam so if you go to access your blog and it has been marked there is a form to fill out to tell us why it should not have been marked spam and to re open your blog. PLEASE if you find this on your blog make sure to fill it out and send it right away, NEXT week we will be deleting all blogs marked as spam so don’t delay.

We are sorry for any over site on our part if we marked your blog by accident but please understand it is a huge job to go through all the sites created in the last five years.

Again I have cleaned out the BlogDumps Discussion Forum – Spammers… gotta love it 🙁

But I deleted them all. it would be cool if you all would make friends and network in the forum.

I have added profile comments so if you have blogging friends that are a part of the BlogDumps Community Discussion Forum you can stop by their profile page and leave them a comment. You can customize your profile page too.

With all the traffic and readers to the discussion forum, now is a good time to update your profile with a logo or photo and a link to your blog. Then announce your blog to the community in the Announce your blog here thread. 80,000 hits a month – why pass up the opportunity?

I have been busy…LOL I have added to the BlogDumps Mobile site “B Mobile”

It is a fun place you can access from you pc or your mobile phone. It is just a wall to leave a comment or a link to something funny or crazy or just you latest blog post. No logging in just post it. You can leave your name or you can be anonymous. Have fun I will be making some more improvements as time goes on!

The big news is BlogDumps Video Site “B Tubed”
We have completed the upgrade on the video uploading and everything is working great 🙂

We have also added back a bunch of new features where you can add your latest article or blog post to your profile with a link to your blog. Customize your page layout and brand your page.

You can now create, Video albums, Music Albums, Photo Albums – groups, add bulletins, shutouts, upload an article and more. Some of the users have told me they get a lot of readers from their B Tubed profile. Create private video mail and send to your family or friends only you can also do this by using your webcam!

I have added some info in the help center and will be adding more as I update “B Tubed”

Think again and then have a shower… LOL

It looks like it is going to be a rainy day here on the Eastern Shore, Trina and I were going to go to a bon-fire at the beach but it appears to be a rain out. I love rainy days they make a good day for just doing nothing, Maybe tidy the house some 🙂

So I guess we will just be hanging around tring to get our ducks in a row!

I hope you all have had a great week? We have had a good one around here except that it has been very hot and dry. We had some rain but it has been so hot I don’t think it has mattered, most everything looks dead or dieing from lack of water. It did cool off enough to have some fun at the State Fair this week. Jacob, the little one, broke out after visiting what he called “horsey piggy poop” LOL So we were off to the first aid station to get some Children’s Benadryl.

I found this video on BlogDumps “B Tubed” Please if you are going to drive try to do a little better than this 🙂 I know I will as I head to the beach to try my new surfboard today.

I couldn’t decide which video to post this week so I did two. You tell me which one is the funniest or the best!

Yes it’s Summer and it super hot here, I am not sure about where you are but here it is humid and hot – combined together makes it one muggy day. One we might all enjoy spending the weekend at the beach 🙂

Yes it has been another long week! But it hasn’t been a bad one, especially not like the one the people had in the video below!!!

Not much to report this week we have just been working on some new features as always, we hope to implement them by the end of the summer. I have come to the conclusion a website is never finished it just gets to stopping point before continuing on.

Well we have landed in a place where I could do Sunday Music so I thought – What a great time to do a quick post.

I hope everyone is having a great time getting ready for the holidays… I am going to miss having the Christmas ham… ~~LOL~~ Wait that’s not funny, maybe I can get an air drop or maybe someone delivers!

Everything here has been going well, we are having fun. It seems as though the world is still moving when we get off the boat 🙂

I have taken some photos but haven’t had a chance to get them to the computer so I can upload them to the blog!

I found this so fitting because we are sailing around in the pacific.

Hi all, it has been a few days since we have posted but it has been real busy around here – we are trying to finally get everyone added to the directory but some blogs may have to wait until we get to the next port when we land. If you want to be added right away to a category please go here to get in front of the line. OK, so it costs a couple dollars, but every dollar helps keep the servers humming and the programmers happy.

Everything else is on time and on track except the .css changes we are making in IE for the B Tubed part of BlogDumps that seems to be taking toooo long for me. I almost think we need some real change in this department but they keep asking me what and I haven’t figured it out yet, any ideas????? Leave them in the comments, I’m game let’s do it!

There are new sponsors on the front page of BlogDumps so make sure to click around and check them out we want them to be happy and get some readers and stay awhile 🙂

Not much else to report, Oh yeah we changed the back up time to 3am Eastern Time US for all BlogDumps Bloggers you all seem to get on the site at the same time in the mornings and when we do the data back ups it slows down the site so we are doing them when you all “Should be sleeping” 🙂
