The blog directory has now been automated and is working very well. Complete the form to add your blog and Bam! it is listed. If you would like to have a screen shot of your blog next to you listing please become a featured blog or a platinum feature and get your blog advertized across the front page and on the directory for a small one time, lifetime fee!

We have had a successful week in optimizing the data base for all the blogs created here on BlogDumps Bloggers. While we were in the process of cleaning up the site we noticed there were many spam blogs and adult dating or adult content blogs, this is a violation of our terms of service.

We have gone through and marked many blogs (a thousand or so) as spam so if you go to access your blog and it has been marked there is a form to fill out to tell us why it should not have been marked spam and to re open your blog. PLEASE if you find this on your blog make sure to fill it out and send it right away, NEXT week we will be deleting all blogs marked as spam so don’t delay.

We are sorry for any over site on our part if we marked your blog by accident but please understand it is a huge job to go through all the sites created in the last five years.

Again I have cleaned out the BlogDumps Discussion Forum – Spammers… gotta love it

But I deleted them all. it would be cool if you all would make friends and network in the forum.

I have added profile comments so if you have blogging friends that are a part of the BlogDumps Community Discussion Forum you can stop by their profile page and leave them a comment. You can customize your profile page too.

With all the traffic and readers to the discussion forum, now is a good time to update your profile with a logo or photo and a link to your blog. Then announce your blog to the community in the Announce your blog here thread. 80,000 hits a month – why pass up the opportunity?

I have been busy…LOL I have added to the BlogDumps Mobile site “B Mobile”

It is a fun place you can access from you pc or your mobile phone. It is just a wall to leave a comment or a link to something funny or crazy or just you latest blog post. No logging in just post it. You can leave your name or you can be anonymous. Have fun I will be making some more improvements as time goes on!

We have also added back a bunch of new features where you can add your latest article or blog post to your profile with a link to your blog. Customize your page layout and brand your page.

You can now create, Video albums, Music Albums, Photo Albums – groups, add bulletins, shutouts, upload an article and more. Some of the users have told me they get a lot of readers from their B Tubed profile. Create private video mail and send to your family or friends only you can also do this by using your webcam!

I have added some info in the help center and will be adding more as I update “B Tubed”

Hi All,

First I want to let you all know that AngelBaby who has been with us here in the community for years took a little turn for the worse and is in the hospital. Please keep her in your prayers and if you would stop by her blog, Your Caring Angels, that would be nice, she asked me to take care of it while she was unable to post and I found a draft you will like that she had not published yet. You will find the post here

Now for the BlogDumps News…

This Saturday starting at 5pm Eastern Standard Time USA we will be performing Necessary Data base server maintenance. This will start with a database dump (in real word we are going to back up and save your stuff) this will lock the database server for about 15 to 30 minutes so don’t panic you may go to your blog and see nothing there. It’s ok it will come back online shortly.

After this backup we will start the optimization to the database to clean it up and get rid of the unnecessary tables (all the junk not needed to run the site.) This will take some time but we are going to do it one site at a time so it doesn’t affect everyone site wide at one time, also we will only be doing the data tables that need this maintenance. During this time across the BlogDumps site you may experience a little lag in loading but rest-assured it will only be for a little while and then we will be able to serve you better and faster.

BlogDumps has seemed to be growing at a very fast rate so this is a very important and necessary maintenance.

I would also like to thank all of the BlogDumps Bloggers who have built a blog here on BlogDumps that have hit the subscribe button to help with all the costs that it takes to run the site. We will continue to grow and registrations will stay open if more continue to subscribe. You will find the Subscribe button on your BlogDumps dashboard.

And to all of you that have generously donated to the BlogDumps cause to help us continue it is much appreciated

A Word On Wednesday

I normally don’t post on Wednesday but I wanted to announce a couple of the newest blogs and members of the BlogDumps community.

The first one, Windshield Replacement Phoenix – provides auto glass repair in Arizona. They offer cash back with any insurance approved auto glass claim.

I don’t know about you but I have had many a stone come flying through the air and break the windshield.
The time it takes to have to take the car into the shop and have it repaired and then either drop it off or have to wait is unbearable. But this company has mobile windshield technicians that come to you to replace or repair your windshield! How cool is that!!! I think this is an awesome idea.

The second is Pubs: Then & Now A very nice blog with a lot of cool photos, some new and some old of pubs in the England. The author writes:

The Pub is one of the few great cultural icons of Britain. We are currently in a phase where the future of the pub is in doubt. This blog is to show how pubs have changed (or not) over the past 10+ years. I first started taking pictures of pubs in 1987 and have amassed quite a collection. Most of these pubs are within easy walking distance of the English Canals and most are based in the Midlands. Apart from a (very) few I have drunk in every pub pictured (and sometimes been drunk in them!)

I can appreciate that The blog is great I love the layout and the cool descriptions of the pubs in each post. He even has a blog he follows that I am sure Bud would like The Pub Curmudgeon …LOL
