Since it is all the rave I thought I would post about the movie, This Is It starring Michael Jackson.

On first look one can not grasp the depth of beauty and passion stirred by The Artist Challenge. This site is an inspiration to those who participate in the monthly challenges and those who view the results from challenges past.

On their “What the Heck is this Site?” page I found the following:

What is The Artist Challenge?
The Artist Challenge is ‘dare’ between artists. Example: “How would a foolish soul like you portray ‘Hope’ in a singular image or artwork?”

How does it work and what are the requirements?
The theme for the challenge will be clearly defined at the first of every month with links to research the subject. It’s origins may come from the artists, patrons or some other unlikely spirit.

The challenge can be done in any style or medium the artist chooses. (Painters, Sculptures and craftsmen are all welcome.) Each member is given 30 days to render their concept and post their masterpiece on The Artist Challenge site by the specified drop dead date.

Of course, there is more to the page, but you have to go to The Artist Challenge to read it – I’m not giving away all the details!

The artwork submitted on each challenge is amazing! Their last challenge, Art Challenge#20- Shifting Shadows was actually posted last night and the artwork- all we can say is Wow! 11 artists participated and each work of art was so different – every interpretation was unique! I really love how every piece of artwork submitted has artist details and details about that particular piece of art when you click on it.

If you are an art lover, or collector – heck, if you like to look at awesome things, you gotta check out The Artist Challenge! If you are an Artist of any kind, I encourage you to participate as one artist wrote

“These challenges are changing my work. Have commented; some where, about this. No longer to I approach a piece with a concept only. Tend to ponder it for a while, what is it saying not only to my eyes, but my heart and mind and if it turns out well it represents a part of my soul. Look at the rendition we each come up with and the world becomes more a touching compassionate loving “complete” world. Truly am very fortunate to be a part of this gallery of Artists.”

The Artist Challenge is a great asset to our community and I hope you all enjoy the site as much as I do.

Hi All! I hope you are having a good week! It finally stopped raining here and Trina is finally getting better, she has been sick this week. It has to be all this rainy nasty weather!

We have reopened the BlogDumps Bloggers so everyone can create a blog again. It was a mess, there were so many blogs that were started years ago that were abandoned and they was causing a slow down on data so I have been cleaning house so to speak… LOL You should notice that your blog will load a bit faster with all the dead ones gone!

BlogDumps video has been worked on again this week, now there are no more issues with uploading videos. I am still working on Bulk photo upload (if you want to do ten photos at one shot) The single upload is working fine so enjoy. It’s a great place to keep your photos and share them with your friends. I am trying to make this a great spam-free environment for everyone to enjoy and make it easy to have friends, upload videos music, photos and flash games. So have fun and enjoy. If you joined BlogDumps community discussions you will still have to join BlogDumps Video also and create your page like on Facebook.

Everything else seems to be humming along. Make sure to stop by Saturday and check out The Artist Challenge, our newest featured member of BlogDumps… A big welcome goes out from the BlogDumps crew and the community! I know… Where the heck have we been!? I guess I should come up with all these great stories… LOL
But I don’t have any other than it has been so nice outside after we had all that crappy, wet and rainy weather that every chance we got to go outside we did

AY over at Time for a Babble Break won this weeks Top Sites Tuesday! She wrote such a great post with pictures and video to help us imagine the different festivals!Babble Break is a great blog, AY is AWESOME! Make sure you all visit her and show some comment love. Yes, that’s right – we bloggers love comments so don’t just be a lurker… LOL

There hasn’t been much to report around here, we have made a few changes to the video site and simplified it so now when you upload a video it isn’t as confusing. The bulk photo uploader went on the blink and it has been worked on I am going to give it the last test try with some funny bear photos… They are fantastic the bear crawls down the line and beats the squirrel to the bird feeder. I am also writing new FAQ’s for the video area in case someone needs help.

Also I have been working on BlogDumps bloggers. All the blogs that were started years ago and were never updated or used are being deleted to make room for people who are serious about blogging. When I finish I will re-open registration for new blogs to be created. This will also stop some of the robots that have been creating blogs on the site. BlogDumps bloggers is running great and is faster and better than ever so that’s a good thing

I hope all of you have a great weekend, I’ll try to get around and visit as many of you as I can. There are so many people in the community now it’s exciting! It’s great that so many of you have decided to become part of the community, please use all the free services that’s what they are here for.

Yes it’s that time again I hope you all are having a great weekend!

It has been raining for days here on the Eastern Shore so we have been just hanging out and watching the rain drops… LOL

I really wanted to go to the wine festival but it’s just too cold and wet to have any fun outside. I think I’ll wait for warmer weather… My wine likes it like the photo… hehehe

Just for fun I have been cruising BlogDumps Video for some music and I found that Liggy uploaded this song so I am going to use it today for Sunday music… Pete turn your volume down…LOL For those who like rock turn it up
