I am just hanging out here on the farm in the peace and quite after a hustle and bustle weekend. We took a trip to the other side of Baltimore to check out an exhibit… We left at 7am so I was up at 5 this morning!
Woofy thought I was nuts, gave me the look like “what’s up, I was snoring nicely” ๐ Yes the wolf snores and I mean SNORES I need to get a nose strip and see if it helps!!!
So anyway, I was cruising around the site and listening to some of the music uploaded by community members and here are a few: Continue reading Rock’n On Sunday Night!→

I know you all think I’m just back here for the wine, but this time I actually came to Winchester for a reason… We are “approaching peak color” for autumn leaves. The mountains and valleys covered in trees make this autumn leaf turning amazing… much more so than in Lower, Slower, Flat Delaware ๐
I found a web cam, for those of you who can’t get here to see the leaves on the mountains. It’s The Leaf Color Webcam According to the leaf color report, “Fall has arrived in the mountains of Virginia, ushering in shorter days and noticeably cooler temperatures to this mountaintop park. Although the park hasnรขโฌโขt received a good, hard frost yet, most leaves are changing colors rapidly and we are now approaching peak in many of the highest sections of the Skyline Drive.” If you would like to read the rest of the report, go here, but I’m warning you – you might start to book your trip ๐
So, we are staying at the Courtyard Marriott in Winchester, Virginia – we scoped many of the other Hotels and this particular one is the nicest. The Ladies at the front desk are amazingly sweet and friendly. The first time we stayed here, we called ahead and told them we were coming to check out wineries and they pulled a list of all the wineries in the area, directions to get to them, and addresses to each winery so we could plug that into our GPS (they spoiled us) The hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable with super fluffy pillows on the nice white beds. They even have a weight room, indoor pool and jacuzzi (which, by the way, is where you would find Wolfbernz this morning) The Marriott here also provides a very nice Breakfast (none of this continental breakfast stuff) They have someone making omelets, you can make your own Belgian waffles, and they have all kinds of other munch-able stuff LOL. Dan is the general manager there. Thanks Dan for a wonderful stay! We love coming up there ๐
So, I almost forgot it’s Sunday Music time! Here’s something nice and soft to listen to!
See you tomorrow when we announce the theme for this weeks Top Sites Tuesday!

I don’t know how long ago I started doing Sunday Music here on the blog but I enjoy getting a cup of coffee and then listening to different songs until I hit the one that says that’s it!
Good Sunday morning, I hope you all are having a great weekend!
We are taking a trip ( and never leaving the farm…lol) down memory lane…
I found a few music videos that I thought I would share for this occasion. Continue reading Sunday Music “Love In” On Woodstock Weekend→
Sorry for the delay, but I’ve been a little preoccupied with my Sunburn, courtesy of yesterday’s beach outing, for most of the morning.
Yesterday started out perfectly for a very fair skinned person, like myself, to go enjoy a day at the beach. The morning clouds promised rain – I though that was awesome – rain never came, just clouds. Then the sky cleared and my sunblock failed me. *Sigh* Now I remember why I don’t frequent the beach when I can’t comfortably wear long sleeves, pants, and a scarf ๐
Here’s to sincerely being jealous of all you folks that tan beautifully, and here’s to all of you who suffer after a day in the sun, just like me. LOL
I have been watching the news in the last week.. I know, go figure! I couldn’t help but notice the whole Lunar Landing 40th anniversary and the passing of Walter Cronkite. I think that it is kind of ironic that Mr. Cronkite Passed away so close to this 40th anniversary of the Moon Walk that he reported on.
Walter Cronkite was an amazing reporter and thanks to Sunday Morning this morning, I even know that in some countries anchor-men are called “Cronkiters” I think that’s awesome! He reported truthfully and faithfully and millions of people listened and believed and respected him.
There are still people that don’t believe that the moon walk was real. I believe. If we can have computers so tiny they fit in the palm of our hand, why couldn’t we launch a mission to the moon successfully?
I asked a friend if she thought it was a conspiracy and her reply was, “I wasn’t on the Moon so I can’t tell you that I really know.” While only the astronauts really know that we went to space or to the moon, I hate to think that President Kennedy’s words “We are going to the Moon” were false and unfulfilled.
So what are your thoughts? And are you going to be watching the new “Digitally Remastered” films from the first moon walk?
