Good Monday Morning!

All is well here on the home front! I hope all of you had a great weekend…
I have been working on everything putting it back like it was around here.
The BlogDumps Instant Messenger is working great so I am around if anyone has any questions me just ring me.

I am a little slow posting the Top Sites Tuesday today because I am doing some clean up, I am almost finished though so the post will go up soon.

I went out and bought a one terabyte extra back up to run here at the office. We will be backing up each day here at the office and at the data center on Thursdays we will have a complete backup there also …Yeah! After having to upload 72 gigs of data back on the server I thought I better get at least a one terabyte. I also have added another gig of ram to the servers so the site should run a lot faster now!

Anyway I just wanted to say good Monday morning to you all, I will finish up and then get the Top Sites Tuesday post up!

In the mean time enjoy the music – I’m just about finished being crazy over here!!!

BlogDumps Maintenance

I’m sure you all noticed that BlogDumps Servers were down for a period of time yesterday while we were doing maintenance and checks that were necessary after the move to the new data center. We always begin our maintenance by backing-up the servers. Unfortunately, during the back-up, the back-up servers crashed and data from the last week has been lost.

We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused all our community members, but it was totally unforeseen and catastrophic – steps have been taken to prevent this from ever happening again.

For those of you who have just joined the BlogDumps Bloggers Community and didn’t get the chance to write any posts, but you created your blog in the last week (July 23-30) Due to this unforeseen event, you will have to sign-up to get a blog again. For those of you who have joined BlogDumps Video and created a profile in the last week, you will have to join BlogDumps Video again.

Obviously we are embarrassed for the loss of data, but we hope that everyone can understand that even the best laid, safest plans sometimes don’t work.

I hope you all are having a great weekend! I am in Strasbourg Pa. With my Grandson, we are off to ride the Choo Choo Train! I hope to bring back some cool Photos to share with you all.

I hope you enjoy this review of one of the most positive and wonderful blogs on the web.

Your Caring Angels is run by AngelBaby who is always giving out love and blessings across the web. She has poured her heart into her blog and it shows in every post that she writes. She also can be found in every corner of the web spreading love to everyone, she always seems to make it around to everyone’s blog and leaves a nice comment to brighten their day!

Her blog has a great layout and is easy on the eyes – I love the way the Angel seems to hover over her blog as if she is watching to make sure everything is ok. If you haven’t been to her blog yet it is a must read… I love the photos of When God Paints they are always so wonderful. Make sure to leave a comment after all it is the nice thing to do!!!

We are glad to have you in our community and in our lives you’re the best AngelBaby and this week and every week you will be number one to all of us… Even if Nancy kicks all our butts… LOL

Walter Cronkite and the Lunar Landing On Sunday Music

I have been watching the news in the last week.. I know, go figure! I couldn’t help but notice the whole Lunar Landing 40th anniversary and the passing of Walter Cronkite. I think that it is kind of ironic that Mr. Cronkite Passed away so close to this 40th anniversary of the Moon Walk that he reported on.

Walter Cronkite was an amazing reporter and thanks to Sunday Morning this morning, I even know that in some countries anchor-men are called “Cronkiters” I think that’s awesome! He reported truthfully and faithfully and millions of people listened and believed and respected him.

There are still people that don’t believe that the moon walk was real. I believe. If we can have computers so tiny they fit in the palm of our hand, why couldn’t we launch a mission to the moon successfully?

I asked a friend if she thought it was a conspiracy and her reply was, “I wasn’t on the Moon so I can’t tell you that I really know.” While only the astronauts really know that we went to space or to the moon, I hate to think that President Kennedy’s words “We are going to the Moon” were false and unfulfilled.


So what are your thoughts? And are you going to be watching the new “Digitally Remastered” films from the first moon walk?
