Oh yes, it’s the weekend!!! Thank God! I am so tired it was a long week!!! The best part right now is it’s raining cats and dogs so I guess I am going to stay in today and just hang out, turn on my BlogDumps IM and talk to some friends and family!
Why do we say raining like cats and dogs?
I have had some emails for this up coming Tuesday’s Top Sites! “What are We Grateful For” I really like that one what do you all think??? My only problem… Nevermind I will just make a list of what I am grateful for, I have so many! Even when times are tough there is always something to be grateful for! So don’t miss out on Top Sites Tuesday meme fun! Not sure what’s going on… You can read last weeks post here.
I would really like it if more of you would join “Bloggers Help America”, we really need to get this going… If you haven’t donated your buck, well, get going the button is on the right side of this page… You do not have to be a blogger to make a donation!!! This is something I would like to see grow so we can start helping people.
Make sure to leave a comment to the post if you know some people or an organization we should help out!
I haven’t done this in a few Saturdays so I thought this was due!

. . . . . . .
Sometimes I start to stress out and I think that I have it so rough I am working on one of the sites this week.
I took a break and had some left over enchiladas I cooked for dinner for the family the other night.
As I sat and watched the news there was this announcement about the USA’s Dirty Little Secret.
So I sat and watched this report before coming back to work. The report was about people in the United States living in tents, yes that’s what I said tents! Most of the people looked like they could be my neighbors or the guy down the street or me for as far as that goes…
This was quite disturbing to me and as I watched there was a guy in Sacramento that has a dry cleaning business and said anyone going for a job interview from this tent city they should stop by and he would clean and press their clothes for free, I wish I had caught the name of the cleaners, what a great guy! I can’t believe how many people that just last year were living and enjoying life and now it’s all gone and they live in a tent city outside of town somewhere!
All of a sudden my life became so much more clear to me… Stress, Gosh lets re-define the word here! I don’t have to live in a tent or wonder where my next meal is coming from. Don’t get me wrong I have to work and produce or I can’t feed my family but this is just horrible!!! I can’t even fathom what is going through these peoples heads and how they cope with all of it.
I think the worst of all is that our government, which means we, just throw the word (it used to be Billion) Trillion around like it’s nothing and all the corporate hot shot’s taking all the bonus money… How can they even turn on a TV with out feeling bad.
Please join us, you don’t have to be a blogger
So anyway it’s back to work so I can make some kibbles and bits…
. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
This Tuesday will not include the Top Blogs sending traffic… I know, I hear you!
There is always next Tuesday. I think this is important to write about.
A fellow Blogger Shinade posted about Bloggers Help America and received some negative feedback because they don’t know who we are at BlogDumps. So I added and revised the Bloggers Help America Page. We added all our contact information and when we started and who owns the site etc… I don’t want anyone getting the wrong idea. I really think that this could be a great thing if we all banded together, we can make a difference!
Thanks to you that have joined the rest of us!

When Shinade donated, she suggested the following charity for us to consider when we make our first donation from the Bloggers Help America Fund:
The Turner Syndrome Society Of America. This is a genetic disorder that only affects women. Their medical costs are phenomenal. Even with insurance many of them can’t afford everything they need to stay alive. This Foundation receives very little attention and needs support very much. The women suffer many terrible things associated with this disorder. Life expectancy is is very short. I think the longest recorded is early 50’s. Please, please, consider this. They are desperate for funding to help all females that are born with this. I think the URL is here Thank you.
I hope all of you will visit this site and learn more!

Have a great week,

Yes, it’s Hot Blogs Tuesday again, time goes so fast doesn’t it!
So I guess most everyone is following the news on our economy! I just hope things will get better for us all as spring comes into season.
As I watch on the news I feel blessed with what I have more and more each day. There are so many people that are having such a rough time especially those with kids… I know, I raised my fair share.
I have always been one to lend a hand when I could and always treated everyone as though they are better than me, no matter who they are. I know that sounds kind of corny, but I have made some interesting friends along the way and it has always helped me afford to live, you see I have always been self-employed and as a single parent, like a lot of you, it’s not an easy task.
I have started a “Bloggers Help America Fund” I think that if some of us, out of the fifteen million bloggers, banded together we could make a difference and have a positive impact on those that need help. I hope you will all join me on my journey. Let’s show the world how powerful little ‘ole bloggers can be!
All the best,
