What a nice day! It was warm and sunny with a bit of a cool breeze. We hung out in the marina this morning they had a nice Sunday brunch overlooking the surf spot from the restaurant. They have really good coffee the best part is it’s at the end of the dock upstairs. The food was really good.
We headed into town after breakfast and lucked into a Sunday local flea market. The Mexican people are really cool and very artistic at what ever it is they do.
We walked all over the town, there was a soccer game going on and it looked as though they were debating as to who did what during a play in the game. Trina didn’t want to walk near the river she was telling me about snakes and wild things so we walked down the street past a enclosed area around a house whenthis giant dog hits the fence I though I sh*** my shorts…LOL
It was nice we had a great walk and then it was back to the boat – everyone was taking a nap and, as usual I was playing with the site as I finally have some internet!
Some really cool people from Long Beach invited us to Taco night in town – I was in – so seven of us headed into town it was a byob place 🙂 We waited just a few minutes and then had some really good meixcan style tacos and quesadillas. I liked the desert flan. I wanted to buy a whole pie it was so delicious. It was nice to hang out and talk – good company, lots of laughs – everyone there was on a boat and had something to share.
It was a great evening and nice walk back to the marina. We are looking at the charts, it’s getting time to hit the water and do some sailing to the next spot and hang out “on the hook” as they say in sailor talk 🙂
I believe we will still have internet so I hope to have some cool photos. The first stop is Yelapa, Mexico, and then down the coast.
I think this photo say it all when it come to this trip relaxing and peaceful …
