Merry Christmas!

Well, finally it’s here and just in time for Christmas… I have the “Quick Capture” upload for videos working.

This means you can now upload a webcam video with sound and all to BlogDumps Video free and send the video to friends and Loved ones or everyone! Want to send a Merry Christmas video? Just upload and send the link in an email. You can also create funny webcam videos for the whole world to see and embed them on your blog!

For you hard core bloggers now you can just video your post… LOL

What’s New On Saturday

Well here’s the news, we have been working hard this week to get our users the ability to create their own blog for free right here on BlogDumps. This was one of the tougher tasks we have had to do around here… But as bloggers know, we love a challenge right? Whether you want to create a video blog, make money online blog or just a personal blog, it’s all right here. Add videos upload pictures and more…

BlogDumps Bloggers is now up and running fine after a few crashes… Should I admit this? Oh well nobody is perfect except for, well that’s a post for another day. lol

BlogDumps and BlogDumps video have survived the move to our own dedicated servers with out any loss of files or users… Yea

For about a month I didn’t think we would get there but it’s finished.

I have to say though, it is due to the techs that run the servers. They are fast and efficient at what they do and I am glad to have them on our teem. Thanks guys.

I know It’s Not Saturday But…. I am a bit late on the Saturday Night Dump Update… But that’s ok it gave our Featured blog some top post time and that’s a good thing.

We had over 3,575 hits to the blog yesterday, I know, WOW what the heck is going on? Good thing we moved to our own server!

The Winner Of The Get featured For Two Weeks Contest.

The results are in! Drum-roll please….. And the winner of the “Get Featured For Two Weeks Contest” Is Andrew Shotland From Local SEO Guide.

Andrew Shotland’s blog is about local search optimization, small business marketing & search engine optimization strategy. He even offers consulting services!

Andrew has a great blog with some very useful information on it I was doing a quick read and found it very informative. I am going to add it to my favorites and will be reading what he has to say on this subject.

Here’s the quick stats.

1. Andrew Shotland currently provides clients with SEO and SEM consulting services. He specializes in local search engine optimization but Andrew works on all types of sites. Clients include large media and e-commerce companies, Web 2.0ish start-ups and even his local cabinet guy (he got a great deal on custom cabinets).

2. Previously Andrew was head of product and business development for Insider Pages where he developed a SEO program that attracted over 3 million monthly unique visitors almost solely via SEO. Insider Pages was acquired by CitySearch earlier this year. A good move by CitySearch.

3. In a past life Andrew Shotland was GM of NBC.com and did all of those watch TV and go online things that are totally commonplace now but back then were a bit wacky and annoying to the network execs who didn’t quite get it.

4. Way way back when Andrew Shotland launched Showtime Network’s first website and did the first live web chat from a Mike Tyson fight when we covered his first match after he got out of prison. It lasted all of 86 seconds. But hey he got a free trip to Vegas out of it.

Nafcom’s Crap Blog


Ok. The name of this blog does NOT apply to the content found on his site, Nafcom’s Crap Blog is NOT full of Crap! It’s a very useful and informational blog.

Nafcom was one of the first blogs to join BlogDumps way back in the early days and he has become a friend and a loyal supporter of BlogDumps ever since… Thanks Nafcom!

Sooooo… I thought it would be nice to do a mini-review of his blog and tell all of you to go check him out. I want everyone to do me a favor and add him to your favorites because his blog is well worth the read and the bookmark!

Add Affiliate Advertisement Or Promotion On Videos!

You can now add affiliate advertisement to the beggining or the end of a video that is uploaded on BlogDumps Video.

Think about this: upload a cool video, it gets embeded on some blogs around the blogosphere. It has your affiliate code and image at the end of the video that can be clicked on and off they go putting money in your pocket.

I also tested it with the affiliate referral URL and different picture images and it works the same way. So the possibilities are almost unlimited.

Every member has the advertisement option on their own BlogDumps Video page where you upload videos. But you must let me know so I can set it up for you. I did it this way to keep the spammers out, this is for bloggers only!

I thought I would use an example worth watching

You can create multiple advertisements using your affiliate urls and will be able to change the advirtisements around to all your videos that you upload! If you decide this is for you when you join BlogDumps Video just message me and I will set you up!
