I hope you all are ready for Christmas and have all your last minute shopping done.
It sure seems hectic this time of year doesn’t it? I don’t mind it so much except if you need somthing simple it can be a chore to achive getting it. I don’t have to worry about it this year though since we will be gone on our sailing trip until next month 🙂 Cabo is really cool during the holiday season the streets are all lit up with beautiful lites and fun festivities. It’s not a bad place to be during the holidays.
I want to thank all of you that have participated in the BlogDumps community this last year you have made it a lot of fun.
Since we have taken some time off I have some good ideas for this Spring for the BlogDumps community to improve a few things and make it easier.
I know a lot of you new bloggers have added your blog to the directory and you do not see it in the category yet, the reason is we are a human edited directory and I don’t want to do any ftp access from where we are it is not secure enough for me to feel comfortable doing so. I will add everyones blog to the category you have chosen when I get back to a secure ISP. The good thing is when you do add your blog it puts it on the front page immediatly so you will gain traffic and readers just as soon as you add your blog. The best button this year for gaining new readers is the “make me number one” button. When you add this one to your blog make sure people can find it easy so when they click on it it will put you on the front page of BlogDumps in the top sites area.
I am sure some have tried to create a blog here but it is also human edited to keep the site clean, porn free and spam free so for now until we get back the new blog registrations have been closed.
If you get a chance please update your profile on the discussion forum, add your avatar or photo you can put your favorite backround and media on your profile and you can leave commments on each others profiles also.
If you haven’t joing the social video part of BlogDumps B Tubed take a moment and register you can host all your videos music photos and even flash games. No privacy issues either you control what is public or private even messages. One of the cool features is you can use your webcam to make a video and keep it private and only your friends can see it!
Trina and I really appreciate all of you helping us make BlogDumps a cool place to have fun on the web. BlogDumps is getting ready to start it fifth year so it looks like we will be around for a long time 🙂
