I added Feedburner to BlogDumps Blog the other day which, by the way, I think Feedburner is great. Then after that I saw somwhere on that site that Blogburst was a great place to add your blog, Yeah right.

I received an email from the “Blogburst Team” that said, “At this time your blog is not a good match for the BlogBurst network. A blog can be denied an invitation for many reasons, including quality as compared to other blogs in the network.”

Well Blogburst, who gives a rats you-know-what! Tell that to the 30,000 visitors a month to the BlogDumps blog. What is with these different sites? Do they think they are just all that and that we are just pee-ons waiting for them to give us a break?

Around here we think in a different fashion, if you wish to be added to the BlogDumps community well come on… You are welcome here! I don’t care if you are a blog directory or a blog or a blog resource site it’s all about the Linky Love not the competition or who is best, it’s not about if your blog is good enough. The fact that you are a blogger or blogging resource is what we are all about.

I started BlogDumps about two and a half years ago just for these reasons. I couldn’t find a place that had a good human edited place that a blogger – whether a seasoned blogger or a newbie – could go and get their blog some more readers and traffic to help build their blog. I didn’t know where to go and I was denied because I was a new blog with no rank, so that’s how BlogDumps got it’s start.

So if you are a blogger, blogging resource site or a reader that wants to start a blog BlogDumps is here for you. I don’t normally rant on this blog but it’s emails like that one that just make me want BlogDumps to be a better place for all of you.
In my opinion Blogburst, just typing in my url was a waste of time.
