CBD Cannabidiol Relief

Just what is CBD?

It seems to be all the rave to vape, eat and now drink CBD Cannabidiol products!
I have been doing a little bit of research on CBD and what it is and what it does.
CBD, however you take the product- for instance vaping it with a vape pen found on Cbdjack.com or having honey Stix infused with CBD that is edible, is known to help with all kinds of medical issues, just like pot!

Yes, this is made from the hemp plant and it has no THC in it.

Yes, it is legal in all fifty states.

Back to the health part of CBD, from what I have read it has benifits for a multitude of issues. Such as fibromyalgia,
Seizures, epilepsy, skizofrania and the list goes on.
They are finding more uses daily for CBD products.
To quote Wikipedia

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of at least 113 active cannabinoids identified in cannabis.[5][6] It is a major phytocannabinoid, accounting for up to 40% of the plant’s extract.[7] CBD is considered to have a wide scope of potential medical applications – due to clinical reports showing the lack of side effects, particularly a lack of psychoactivity (as is typically associated with ?9-THC), and non-interference with several psychomotor learning and psychological functions.

I find it a very interesting product after finding the website that sold CBD products, CBDjack.com I’m going to buy some on their website and give it a try, they say it helps with insomnia.
I have so much on my mind I find myself up at late hours, so I’m going to give it a try!

The Art of Being Conflicted

Cheryl, our newest member to the BlogDumps community, Welcome! I hope you join us in some of the fun we have around here on Tuesdays!

I have read many blogs in the time I have started BlogDumps but I have never read one so complete when it comes to reading about a subject. The author of this blog is Cheryl and she writes:

“Middle-aged (if I become a centenarian) living a middle-class life in the very middle of the country and continually struggling with the pros and cons of every topic. Seriously, conflicted.”

This is so true she weighs the pros and cons of each blog post she writes. Check out her last post “They Got It From Me” I have found that I enjoy reading her blog and I am glad she decided to add her blog to BlogDumps. Cheryl is a nice asset to the blog directory for those who do a lot of blog surfing here.

Cheryl’s blog is very easy to read and is easy on the eyes she doesn’t make things hard to understand and definitely doesn’t ramble. I know I haven’t left many comments but as you all know I try my best not to be just a Lurker 🙂

See what I mean? Her blog looks really nice, I like the look don’t you?

In case you are a fan of entertainment, you should read about The first annual CODIP Awards I found it so entertaining that I had to read it out loud to the family! Not sure what CODIP stands for? Read the post, it’s awesome! LOL

Make sure to visit Cheryl and read some of her cool posts and make sure to leave a comment after all it is the nice thing to do!

Sunday Music

It was a great fun filled weekend. We picked a direction (this time South) and decided to visit Virginia’s Eastern Shore.

Our stay in Only on Friday night was interest to say the least – but everything got better Saturday. After weeks of heat it finally decided to rain. Not much better than visiting wineries on a rainy day!

We started by visiting the Chatham Vineyards. They had wine fermenting in Oak Barrels for show and cases of wine that was waiting to be shipped. The whole room was climate controlled – she said they strive to keep it about 60 degrees so it was nice and chilly. The wines were excellent! They had a small selection, maybe 5 or 6 different type to choose from, but every one was better than the last! I especially enjoyed their Cabernet Franc (of course we bought a bottle)

We left there, admiring their vineyards and visited a few more, but the bar was already set and while their servers were full of personality, their wine just wasn’t right for us LOL

As we headed back toward home we took a few detours. We went to Crisfeild, Maryland. What a cute little town and guess what? They’ll be having a wine festival on July 31 – LOL Who knew! They had lovely views from the dock of the Chesapeake Bay and all their street signs had cute red crabs on them (it was like the theme for the town)

Then the rain picked up as we headed more north – something we really needed. I even heard there were streets closed for flooding in St. Micheal’s, Maryland.

Have an Excellent Sunday Evening Everyone!

Saturday Night Dump – Chasing a Noodle

It’s been a really cold day here on the Eastern Shore – we still have snow on the ground! I think it’s going to probably be here a while though, we haven’t really had a snowy winter in a few years, so we’re due for one. I suppose the upside is that the skiing is going to be great in the Pocono Mountains this winter.

This week’s featured blog, Chasing a Noodle, is written by Alastair. He explains his blog:

“Chasing a Noodle is a blog featuring humorous stories and nonsense from the irrelevant world of Alastair Hazell (or something like that, feel free to re-arrange the words). His blog contains a humorous look at life, people, culture, the Internet and social trends.”

Alastair is right, his blog does contain a humorous look at life. His latest post, A Reason to Hate Snow, is hilarious! If not for the graphic picture, I would not completely understand his sarcasm! It’s nice to know that England is getting snow – and that teenagers are the same everywhere!

Sometimes I am surprised by different things on Google. On his post, Funny Google Search Suggestions, Alstair provides a screenshot of a Google Search that was “auto completed” with “never put a sock in a toaster” – while I agree that is really good advice, it’s funny that Google brought that up! How many people really look that up??

If you haven’t read this blog, you definitely should! It’s wonderful!

Saturday Night Dump – The Red Chair Blog

For a little while there today I didn’t think we would have internet. The weather is so bad here on the Eastern Shore. We’ve having a blizzard.. it’s snowed over a foot now and doesn’t look to be stopping until tomorrow morning. The best part is that it’s going to be cold enough that the snow will be sticking around and we are going to have a White Christmas here after-all! Woo-hoo!!

This weeks featured blog, Vikki North’s The Red Chair Gallery, is amazing!!

Cornered around her artwork, this blog is inspiring and pleasing to the eyes! Here’s a collage I found on the site, Vikki is having an art sale from November 22 until December 25th (You definitely should check out the sale!):

Now, everyone that reads this blog (and my own blog) knows that I LOVE CBS SUNDAY MORNING! I think that its so cool that she actually does pieces for the show! She has some perfect sun artwork – each individual in their own right, but soothing and crafty as only a true artist can do! You can see them on page two here of the Fantasy Art section of her gallery.

I have to mention her post “The Strange Thing About Monsieur Mirg at Christmas” I love the art piece she displays at the beginning of the story, portraying an old man full of Christmas Spirit and cheer. But, if you take my word for it and you don’t read the story, you would really be missing out.

Merry Christmas and Welcome to the BlogDumps Community, you are a treasured addition!

Saturday Night Dump – The Rooster Crows at 4AM

This week on Top Sites Tuesday we had an awesome time! Many bloggers participated and it was awesome to see how everyone has a different favorite Holiday Song! The Rooster Crows at 4am was the winner of Top Sites Tuesday and tonight gets Dumped on BlogDumps!

Dave aka Bonehead, the author of The Rooster Crows at 4AM, is an awesome blogger! He writes:

Quit the Rat Race and retired to the edge of the jungle in the Philippines. Grew up in small central Illinois town of Mt.Olive, worked in Springfield, Il and previously lived in Auburn, Il before making the big move to the Philippines. Talk about a radical lifestyle change! Taking pontoon boats off the Guimaras Strait to nearby Iloilo City to do shopping instead of driving my Chevy Colorado down I-55, and bathing with ice cold buckets of water over my head, no heated water tanks here, dodging lizard poop as we sleep at night under mosquito nets. Every day is an adventure, and that’s what my blog “The Rooster Crows at 4am!” tries to relate in a humorous fashion.

And he is so humorous! Anyone who calls his wife The Sainted Patient Wife and her mother The Feared Giant Lizard Killer is a hoot!

I really like to read about the pay scale differences. I find it truly interesting that a carpenter would only make $5.50 a day! Here in the US, that’s below the minimum wage hourly rate!

It is awesome to read about the Philippines. I think it’s such an interesting place and I love to read the random postings and see the pictures!

Saturday Night Dump – Older Eyes

It is with Great pleasure to introduce the latest Featured Blog in the BlogDumps Blog Directory! Bud’s blog is called Older Eyes

Bud Writes:

With a do-over unlikely and getting my children to listen to my archaic opinions only slightly less so, I’ll record the view through my Older Eyes here in Bud’s Blog. As you read each post, you decide … Sage, Curmudgeon, or Fool … we can agree to disagree on which is which. Your comments are welcome, whatever your age. If what you read changes you for the better, I’d especially like to know. Hopefully there will be no casualties.

A different perspective and outlook on life, Bud started blogging about eight months or so ago and has done a really good job. His first post, Feeling Old is inspiring and set the whole scene for what he was to write inn the coming months.

I enjoyed reading Bud’s Blog and seeing things from a different perspective than some of the other blogs I have read. I really enjoyed his post about Christmas, Monday Smiles – 11/30/2009, it was Positive and wonderful… You all know how I like to read about positive outlooks on different things. At first glance though, I thought that the picture of the house lit with a ton of Christmas lights really was his neighbor, all I could think about was how amazing that was.. followed by “Wow those guys have WAY too much time on their hands!”

Make sure to visit Bud, welcome him onto the BlogDumps community and leave a comment- you all know how bloggers like comments 😀

Saturday Night Dump – Over Cups of Coffee

This weeks winner of Top Site Tuesday was Psych Babble’s blog, Over Cups of Coffee.

This blog is written by Psych Babbler and it’s great!

cup_coffee

In her profile she writes

“A complex character: don’t judge me by my cover! I may appear shy, almost social phobic, but once you get to know me, I’m an open book. I’m obsessive-compulsive about lotsa things…bear with me. I’m hardworking, a perfectionist, an introvert and absolutely love my independence. My passions include psychology, reading, writing and cricket. “

She left out that she’s been blogging regularly since 2007 – and that takes dedication! Many bloggers don’t make it one year! Her first post, “Out of my Comfort Zone” was a review of a Steven Waugh book. Incidentally, gave the book a “quite amazing actually! Without being biased … it is an interesting read into his life as a cricketer and a person — a husband, a father, a friend, a brother, a son.” I don’t know much about Cricket, but I do know that Psych Babbler loves the game 🙂

Oh and I really love this post, Happily Ever After It’s too funny and too true – changing the endings to nursery rhymes is just sad… what is this world coming to when Humpty Dumpty can be put together again?

This blog is colorful, insightful and an easy read – you should totally stop by and say hi!
