Sunday on the Farm

What a great day! It rained hard last night… I am glad, after all we have been mowing and mulching so it looks nice in fact I used the BlogDumps Video Quick Capture feature to film and upload a short clip of all the work we did yesterday. I really like this feature… I don’t think Wolfbernz has said enough about it, the quick capture feature that is, it’s awesome and easy to use!

Wolfbernz has also added live video streaming chat to the BlogDumps Instant messenger. Check it out, it’s really neat! You can even send files to your friends while you chat!

What another Great Week we have had here on BlogDumps! Top Sites Tuesday was a Blast! Congrats to AY for winning this week! Since her blog, Time for a Babble Break, has been featured, we are going to send her a BlogDumps T-shirt.

Finally the end of the week, now it’s time for some peace and quiet!

BlogDumps is just humming along so everything is cool.

I hope you all have a great weekend I am just going to hang out on the farm and enjoy life.
We bailed hay out on the farm this week! We seem to have dodged the rain everyone else had this week! Must be living right… LOL

Well, it’s about 3:30 pm and it’s Friday I’m outta here.

Why Does it Seem as Though the Week Goes by so Slow?

Ok, if you use Twitter you know I went to lunch.. Burger King … Woo Hoo! 😀

I have been working on the site and trying some cool changes on my test site to see if I like it. I am trying to combine all the data bases and automate submissions and give you all the ability to change your listings and urls, categories etc… Wow is this involved. Any Crazy wild programmers are welcome to email me and we’ll talk… Yes, I just yelled HELP! 😀 I have so many things I want to do to bring BlogDumps to a super level of quality I can’t stand it.

While I am on this subject to all of you that have jumped in and decided to subscribe to the blog hosting (which is optional) I extend a great thanks ’cause this next step is gonna hurt the ole check book… LOL But I enjoy every minute so it’s all worth it to me.

AY won this weeks Top Sites Tuesday and she has been featured so I have a surprise for her! AY I will be emailing you! All of you that joined in this week, thanks! You made it a lot of fun! I hope someday we have a hundred or more and I will create a “Dumped” blogroll so we can all display it and get some more linky love going.

Not much to report on BlogDumps other then trying to keep up with Internet Explorer and Firefox updates on the video site. Every time they update, so do we, so it all works and looks right in each browser. So far I have it all done but the article part… Yes you can write an article all about your blog on BlogDumps Video and link it to your blog. It’s great for SEO purposes.

So that’s it for now all is well on the home front.

I’m at the hotel this morning, getting ready to head out to another winery before making the trek back home to Lower Slower Delaware. In spite of the rain yesterday day here, we still had a blast!

What a better way to get ready for the Halloween Season than to visit and awesome blog with scary undertones? With a Welcome Page:

Welcome all, to the the maiden voyage of… The Inferno! BEWARE……….. BEWARE …. BEWARE……..(cue evil laughter echoing from deep within the ships bowels) Brar har, har, har… har. we are the scallywags from our sister ships, The Artist Challenge, and Dante’s Pub.

The Inferno

I love their overall theme and I was going to try to describe what thier site was all about, but I couldn’t write it better:

We are a community of artist and writers from around the world, who gather to share in the creative influence. The Challenge started as a dare between two amazing artists. It has since grown to encompass what is now The Artist Challenge. Our last gallery had 20 artists who participated in the theme. One of those was not an artist at all, but a writer. For this community feels that writers are artists themselves, simply working in a different medium.

They host a Writer’s Challenge, posting a theme and a submission deadline for creative writing works of art. The challenge Title, Nightmare’s Dance, “this theme be in the spirit of Hitchcock, one of the masters of scream and scare. ” And the entry deadline is Saturday, October 3, 2009. I can’t wait to read this challenge! Their last challenge, “Curiosity Killed The Cat” was awesome! Themed with Edgar Allan Poe’s style, each entry was an entertaining read!
