This fourth of July will be the first one in four years where it did not rain and ruin the fireworks. I’m so excited!! Unfortunately the towns nearby will not be having fireworks displays so we will be having our own!
Fireworks have changed. I remember when I was a kid was had all kinds of launching and exploding things… sparklers were for babies! Now everything resemble over-sized sparklers and nothing is allowed to be launched into the air. Heck even firecrackers have been toned down! At least Whistling Petes still scream so loud you have to cover your ears!
I hope everyone enjoys the weekend – safely and with family. Thank those of you that served our country and that are serving our country. We live in the land of the free because of the brave!
