Clip-Share Sucks, The Youtube Clone Script?

Don’t buy this one…
I bought this script, the full boat! Saved up my money and bought the best video sharing script they offered, their affiliate hosting, Life-time support, installation, lifetime upgrades and, well, it was bogus, non-working script right out of the box. When they finished installation, the site had nothing but non-working features. And getting someone to reply from Clip-Share support was like pulling teath and then comunication just Quit.
So I had no choice but to pull the plug. Argh, I still have a couple of bucks left so I am working with a new company. Hopfully I will have it up and running soon.
I normally would not write such a review, but I feel as though I was scammed and wanted to let the people out there selling bogus scripts and software and offering no support to never under estimate the power of one blogger! I wonder how Clip-Share likes this indexed in Google? If I can save one person from going thru the stess I went thru well, you know the rest.

Nice post Wolfbernz,I wish I had done some more research before buying clipshare.
It looks nice and the features sound nice but Clip-Share is piece of crap and so is thier support.
Dont buy it peoples.

Clip-Share Sucks I can not beleive they spammed me!

At least this spammer admits the truth here….. ClipShare 2.x versions suffered from LOTS (hundreds, literally) of bugs and security issues,
but all these are corrected in the new 3.0.1 version(soon available officially, already in the clients areas, as an RC version, for 2.x owners), together with massive new features and improved execution and loading times. As for their affiliate hosting… it planly does suck. xilahosting.com overloads their servers and you get lots of downtime and issues. 3.0.1 final version will have the X3 Streamer feature integrated. NOT

Their support is improved too they will get to you by 2059, I can not say I am
100%content, but very much better. the good thing is 3.0.1 comes without detailed documentation and that gave me a lot of trouble (you can even install the modules for conversion through SSH, with just using 6 commands 14 Hail Marys ,in six years and a few minutes). Like they said in their Forum, the 3.0.1 release will be officially available for purchasing these days. Yep just give Danny your money and you will get nothing in return!

Ok — I wont say that I was scammed but man I am getting frustrated with ClipShare. My video site looks great – but after a while all new videos went into error mode. The upload and then say LOADING instead of actually playing. Feel free to take a look and if any one has any suggestions – let me know.

I feel yor pain, clip-share has a terminal loading problem and their embeddable player does not work on wordpress or blog platforms.
It is full of bugs Their support is really bad.
The only suggestions I have is to go to the top of this page and go to BlogDumps video and you will find the best script on the market.

Hi there,
I’m looking for a YouTube-style out-of-the-box solution for a photo sharing website. I like the look of Clipshare, but I’m not sure if it can be customized for photos and albums. And after reading all of the negative reviews, I think I’ll pass.
Can anyone recommend an alternate script?

Still prefer Clipshare, but yes, the support issue is driving me batty. After waiting days for a response to my question, “Are you in business still?”, I finally got a response saying they were. I just sent a list of additional questions to Valentin Tudor — I certainly hope they are much more prompt this time. And why the hell is their user forum still offline?? It still says “Moving to a different server. Rebuilding forum permissions.” I’m not expert, but how long does that bloody take?? As a first time user, I want to use Clipshare’s community forum to reach out to other developers!

I know some of you like the look and feel of clip share but I have been through the support nightmare with this company and then they just dont answer back any more and you are left with a half built site that doesnt work.
The real problem, clip share has a player that WILL NOT work as an embeddable player on a blog…Who do you think the thousands of users are that use the embedable player, bloggers for the most part!
I wrote clip share and they told me that I need a wordpress plugin for it to work on a blog!
I run a blog directory so I would have to constantly tell my bloggers\”Oh sorry you need a plugin to use my site\”, I don\’t think so. If you just bought the clip share script and they have not perfomed the service they said they would. Contact you credit card company and tell them. Your credit card company will get you a refund. Clip share will tell you sorry no refunds…Bullshit I told visa what they were doing and they did a charge back to clip share and I received a refund. That was the best thing I ever did, I moved on and found a company that communicates and is willing to help when I need help. Don\’t wait until it is to late to contact you credit card company that\’s what I think clip share hopes for.
As far as the forum it was filled with bad comments to clip share and danny from users. They locked all my threads so nobody could read my questions and comments and then deleted me from the forum.
I am a website builder and even when I screw up moving to a new server it takes 24 hours!
On another note, I am upgrading mine and I am almost finished, stop by and take a look at the best player I have found. The script has a full backend admin panel too!

Just bought Clip-Share and ran into a loading problem on the 4th video upload. The first three videos upload and work great, but the 4th, 5th etc. upload, but do not load in the web site. This now causes all videos to stop playing too. I have put in a support request a few hours ago and will let anyone know whether we receive support.

Don’t wait until it is too late to get a refund.
I called my credit card company and told them everthing and I received a refund from visa, But you only get so many days to claim a refund.

Just for fun I went to the Clip-share forum…I noticed that they have made all the threads where people need help or complain private. If that doesn’t tell you to RUN from this Company Then I guess I will do it for you RUN Away don’t buy Clip-share!

Clipshare script works perfectly fine?.. you must kno lil bit of php to get it working though.. only thing that sucks about rayzz is the freaking templates..
my suggestion to u, before buying any php scripts know a lil bit of php before u start bitchen on boards saying this product sucks, it doesn’t work.

When I delt with clip share it was like getting your teeth pulled and it took weeks if any answer from them at all. I didn’t want to deal with the php, I can do it but I didn’t want to do the job so I bought the clipshare script including all services offered and they could not perfom and finish the job so as far as I am concerend I can Bicth all I fucking want to Clipshare Sucks and Agriya did the job and their customer service is great!

I am looking for a script to set up a video sharing website. I don’t want anything other than video sharing … but I need the videos to be categorised (like channels).
Could Rayzz do this without too much configuration? I would like to have all the video channels across the top nav and then just a members tab where people can upload a video into one of the channels. Logged in users shuld be able to vote on existing movies (as per the Rayzz demo).
Can anyone tell me if Rayzz is the app for me? I am a .NET developer but don’t really do PHP.

You can always have Rayzz do some custom work for you.
They will install and change the look of your site to what you want. I suggest you contact them and ask some of your most important questions first.
I wish I had asked more and done my research first, but hind site is 20-20!

Clipshare seems to be more and more of a rip off. I have been told that I’m an idiot for not finding 20+ files that needed modification to change 1 Line of text by their Forum Gurus (People who have insulted over 700 people) Support is very little help if any. It takes days to get an answer. There is no documentation so if you have no knowledge of PHP you are actually screwed. They basis of the business is to get you to pay for help or customization. A complete rip off! Stay away!

Gosh, I hate to hear about this… But Clip-share does suck! I hope you get it all fixed.
One more script to stay away from is the Vidiscript… They offer it for free and then you can add features to it, DON’T DO IT!
When you upload this script to your server you will be hacked in hours. This script is not secure.
I Downloaded it, uploaded it, and when I did I got an email from them saying they had some emergency security updates! When I went to look my dedicated server and all my sites had been hacked. I wrote them back and said to late and started the clean up it took two months to do all the clean-up from this script.
Stay away from any of these scripts unless you google them for reviews and what the requirements are first.
I can also say that none of them are perfect but the one I use is definently the best overall so far.
Also if you get a script that allows the user to upload youtube videos like Rayzz it will work for awhile and then your site will get blocked by youtube and all the videos the users uploaded freeze and IE crashes. I am working on a fix but as of this moment there isn’t one. Agriya the Rayzz creator hasn’t one either.

Hi,
We purchased a video clip share script, lifetime updates, video grabber, install purchase, and clear water template. One, week later nothing, so we requested a refund. We are still waiting going into the second week.
After requesting refund to Video Clip Share via Pay Pal, we then get a email and after voicing the frustration of the service support thus far, we decided to give it another chance.
Site script was install and the support for about two to three hours was okay.
Next day, back to normal, request support, and get nothing, to include re-branding which was also paid for on initial order. We was told, it was the re-branding was being worked, on.
Site was full of bug issues, and no support in sight from the ticket-based source or the forum. Speaking about the forum, filled in all the requirements so that we could be on a costumer status level so that we could view restricted access, and yes, that too, no answer, no reply.
We do not know if we will get our money back, but we will demonstrate to Video Clip Share, that some will not just standby and do nothing.

They have given us a cause to try to warn others who fall pray to this question business service support practice. Our funds for this endeavor are unlimited.
