I would like to welcome one of the newest members of BlogDumps Bloggers.

Inkserotica writes on her About page:

1 – Can you help me get these lenses listed here off this lens?
2 – Can you help me increase the traffic and their ratings?
3 – Can you see what I am missing as to why these lenses are not doing so well compared to many of my other lenses?
4 – Is there hope for them and me as a Lensmaster?
5 – Or am I (we) doomed to stay on the bottom of the Squidoo barrel for ever more?

Here are the possible reasons why these are my worst ranked squidoo lenses ever!:
1 – Poor traffic bordering on Zilch, nada, zero, nowt, nothing…okay, you get the picture
2 – Few comments
3 – Few ratings
4 – Hardly any or no backlinks
5 – Probably not indexed in Google
6 – Poorly researched or boring subjects
7 – No Angel Blessings
8 – No awards or contest prizes
9 – No LotD awarded

Maybe I should back-up and tell you a little about Squidoo and what a lense is. According to Squidoo’s own blog,

“Squidoo is a website hosting hundreds of thousands of handbuilt webpages (just to be difficult, we call them “lenses”). Each lens is one person’s look at something online. Your take on football or business or the best thai food in town.”

That being said, Inkserotica, in London has slowly built up an online presence as a Freelance writer and Reviewer and concentrates on how to promote Squidoo Lenses on her new BlogDumps Blog, Little Earners.

“Increasing my back links by using this blog and discovering methods I can use to promote those lenses that don’t do so well. I shall also be trying to find the reasons why some of these lenses aren’t doing so well as others.”

Monday It’s all good…

What a beautiful day here on the Eastern shore this morning. It might have been a bit cold but it was just one of those walk out the front door of the farm and off to the office and feeling good type of day!

I made it to the office early today and I thought since I didn’t do a Sunday (OK, so I napped and ate pumpkin pie watched the little one and then it was nap time) music I would start of your Monday with some.

I know what a great Idea… Oh stop the applause….. hehehehe

I bet you’re awake now!

Thursday Thirteen # I never counted

I am so bad I never counted which Thursday Thirteen this is for me! It sure has been busy around here – I did two copies of the top sites sending traffic today. Find out interesting stuff about x-box games and fancy phones! cherries-and-blossoms.blogspot.com This blog is written by a young 20-something year-old, with a blog subtitle that reads: “Buddhism teaches that all things have a unique beauty and mission. Every person has a singular mission, his or her individuality and way of life. Wonder what is mine?” Bloggingscious I really like the uniqueness of the title of this blog. I tried to put it in a category but this blog covers so many different things from cars to glasses to random things that interest bloggers. A definite must-read! Bloggertise Whoa! I just realized that three of the blogs in this list are written by Jophilsuperman! Go Figure! I must really like what he writes about! Make Money Online by Toto Hey that makes number 4!! LOL Alexa Oh Come on! You know what alex is! Naked Politics A really interesting Political Blog! The latest post (today) is about Jill Biden, wife of Joe Biden, and a teacher and the Local Community college here. I think that great, but I’m still undecided who I’m voting for… I’m still doing my research so I can make an educated vote!
