Thurday, We Are almost There!

I can’t wait for the weekend, can you? Do you all have any plans?

I have the farm looking pretty good and I am getting caught up on my chores. That’s kind of nice for a change, to be caught up that is. I think it would be great to get out this weekend and do something fun, hmmmm, maybe an early morning boat ride sounds good.

Monday Madness part 2

It’s another great week… I hope all is going great for you.
Trina is fine but a little sore today, She is insistant on going to work.
If things look a little scrambled today it’s probably because she took a vicodan, she really should stay home.

Anyway I have read on page rank that Google penalizes a blog or website that links to a blog or site that has a page rank of “0”
So how in the heck is someone to get a break if nobody wants to link to them because they have no rank?
Well, I don’t care I am going to link to everyone who joins BlogDumps from page rank of 0 to 10. I don’t care and if Google wants to penalize the BlogDumps blog oh well we still get at least 300 unique visitors and up to 3000 visits a day.

Around here it’s come as you are… We don’t care about where you’re from – you are just part of our vast growing community of bloggers and for all your support, Thanks.

I usually post some Sunday music but I was thinking this could be Sunday music, Sunday is for relaxation , reflection, and how to be a better person for this coming week. So come as you are… we will accept you for who you are, you will not be judged around here. Finally! I love the weekends don’t you? It has been quite hot here this last week but it’s weekend and air conditioning time!
I am going for another ride down the river this morning I will take some more photos…

I am glad to see they are back up and running.

Entrecard Fire, Servers Are Down.

I was off to drop an Entrecard and got an unexpected surprise their servers are down due to a fire at the server location.

This is what I found on their site:

“Outage

There was a fire at our datacenter resulting in the failure of some of our systems, our database server appears to be offline still, we’re working on it and we’re really sorry about the issues at this time. more information arriving shortly.

Update: The outage is pretty serious, you can read more about the datacenter fire at ThePlanet forums. They’ve got teams of people there and they’re working through the night. We have no ETA at this time, very sorry.

I would be freaking out to say the least. Entrecard is hosted by The Planet

This is what I found on THEPlanetForums:

“Today at approximately 5:45 p.m., a transformer in our H1 data center in Houston caught fire, thus requiring us to take down all generators as instructed by the fire department. All servers are down.

We are working with the fire department, with our facilities staff on site, to assess the situation.

To keep you updated, we will send messages every 15 minutes in Orbit and here in our forum.”

I can’t even imagine what that would be like and I never want to know!

I wish them the best and hope for a speedy recovery.

Trina Loves it! I really think she’s gotten addicted to the whole visit a blog and drop a card thing. She has it down to a science – not sure what the method is, maybe she’ll post it here for all of you!
