Now that we have grown into a site with all the features needed to be a blogger or a blog surfer or a video buff you will start noticing some things looking a little different. We believe it will enhance the site and make navigation of the site much faster and easier.

Coffee Break?

Maat45 is the author of Coffee Break?

Coffee Break? is a new blog on BlogDumps Bloggers, Maat45 started this blog because the “New Year seems to be a good time to make a start on my own blog site” And we’re glad she has.

I find her blog posts very enjoyable! One of her latest post about quitting smoking was great. While I’m not a smoker myself, I applaud anyone who is trying to break the habit. Her latest solution… Truck Power vs. Willpower It’s truely something every smoker should read!

Finally, I totally agree with her view of the Writers Strike in California in her post “Will Ye No’ Come Back Again? “. While I do watch a few of the reality TV shows, I must admit, I find them boring and predictable. Sometimes while watching them I wonder if I might as well be watching lame Soap Operas… Sorry, kinda got carried away there. She’s right. PLEASE BRING BACK THE WRITERS AND REGULAR TV SHOWS!! I’m looking forward to the New season of Dexter and she’s looking forward to the new season of LOST…

New Years Resolutions

I have been Tagged by my big sister again (you know who) The newbie,Your Caring Angels. She has a great blog and it’s a good read - but don’t tell her I said that. It would look bad if I “neglect” her as she says.

Saturday Already! Free WP Blog Anyone?

This week went fast but a lot of work was done around here. There are a ton of new and great blogs to read this week I just Got back from Clarkspicks it’s Great! If you look in my right sidebar you will see a clarkspick’s quick link button, you can get for your blog sidebar when you visit.

We have been working on BlogDumps Bloggers most of the week. Trina has been doing the SEO for the BlogDumps main site this week, she says she just finished, so we will see how that goes.

I added some spam protection for the Blogs here on BlogDumps.
I didn’t get Akismet they want money for a multi user website - even though it’s free to have a blog here- according to their website they will cut it in half! Only $375.00 a month! LOL I don’t make that kind of money here, I have been giving most everything away.

There is a Donate button to the right-> hehehe

But back to the plugin, it’s really nice. I like it - it’s called Spam Karma 2 (SK2). It has a great admin area.

I had to install a Captcha to Create a blog or login at the blog area. The spammers found us and it’s only been… what? A couple of weeks?

It’s not bad though, the Captcha is an easy reader not like those hard ones. I don’t really care for them, but what does one do to keep the evil spammers and the Splogs away.

No word on BlogDumps Video yet. We are still Working Hard on Finishing the new look. There are some great new vids and Music that have been uploaded. I wonder if anybody would be up for a funniest video contest upload and win a couple of weeks on the front page as a featured blog?

So all is well here, on the home front it all seem to be humming along.
