Only God Knows Why!

Welcome to the Saturday Night Dump… Isn’t that the truth to how things are in our lives today?

I look at this Thanksgiving, now past, and after watching the news, surfing the net and seeing all of what’s going on in our small world - I am Thankful and appreciative for what I have and the family and the friends I have made along the way. Sometimes it’s tough to keep everything together Single parent life is tough… making sure the kids are ok, Oh and don’t forget about work, taking care of the house, the dogs, the parrot, the three wolves, the lizard, the turtle, am I rambling? But you know in the end it’s all worth it because without all of this it would just be too quiet.

I read somewhere once that success is getting up just one more time… and then you fall. It had a picture of a guy surfing a big wave. So I guess the story here is just keep going, be passionate about what you do and who you love and the rest will come. Have a safe Holiday weekend.

Notes from the Floor

This Week’s Featured blog, Notes from the Floor, is from Lewes, Sussex, United Kingdom. I would like to take a second and say I live in Sussex county Delaware, USA (named after Sussex, UK) and one of my favorite beach towns is Lewes, Delaware.

I imagine that my Lewes is much different from Cait’s Lewes. For starters I was reading her post “We all had full Tummies…” I realized the there are no Indian restaurants here. And her description of the food sounded so wonderful, now I’m pretty sure I’m missing something.

She writes on her blog: “Single Parent, homeless and living in two rooms with a toddler, a teenager and a hoarding obsession (not whoring obsession). This blog follows us on our myriad interests and diversions as we move through to a ‘normal life living in a house’ - well it might happen!” And it’s a perfect description. She blogs about her daughter and son and her daily experiences and latest interests.

The most important thing on Cait’s blog is how she’s striving to make money online with her new Ebay store. So, I’m going to try and help her out…
